May 29, 2018: Birmingham, Ala., PharmaPoint is proud to welcome Bobby Middleton as the newest member of its leadership team. As Vice President of Product Operations, he brings 20 years of industry experience in high growth technology businesses.
“We are very excited to have Bobby join our team,” said Mike Plaia, CEO of PharmaPoint. “In support of our continued growth, Bobby will provide executive leadership and oversight for all software development and support, as well as our accelerated go-to-market strategy for XchangePoint.”
Prior to joining the PharmaPoint team, Middleton served as the Executive Director of Product Management at McKesson, where he and his team guided product management and strategy initiatives. He also served as Chief Operating Officer for the augmented/merged reality pioneer HelpLightning, as it grew from a conceptual to commercial phase. In addition, Middleton has held pivotal positions at American Management Systems (acquired by CGI), Emageon (now part of IBM Watson) and Awarix (acquired by McKesson).
“These leadership roles encompass the strategic fields of product management, operations, software development and relationship management, allowing Bobby to both build and lead numerous diverse teams to significant scale, agile performance and operational excellence,” said Plaia.
In addition to bringing Middleton on board, PharmaPoint also announces the internal promotions of Jessica Cox as Senior Director of Product Strategy and Gita Thulasiraman as Senior Director of Software Development.
“Both of these team members have been pivotal players in the successful development and deployment of XchangePoint,” said Plaia. “Their expertise will continue to be vital to the growth of our proprietary software.”
