Feb 10, 2017: Pharmacists are increasingly recognized as members of the “immunization neighborhood,” an APhA-coined term embraced by the public health community that refers to collaboration, coordination, and communication among immunization stakeholders with the common goal of meeting patients’ immunization needs and protecting the community from vaccine-preventable diseases.
