Aug 21, 2013: The Inc 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in America showcases some of the most dynamic companies in both Birmingham and the state of Alabama.

There are 15 Birmingham companies on the list this year, and 51 companies total from Alabama. It should be noted that there are several companies on the list from the greater Birmingham area, and they are included under their respective cities, such as Mountain Brook, Pelham, Bessemer, Hoover and others.
